MONTHLY MEETINGS

November through April Second Wednesday of the month (First Wednesday in December) at 3:30 PM, Ballroom at the Montecito Clubhouse​

Non-members are welcome to attend one monthly meeting as our guest. Outings, workshops, and special events are reserved for club members.

MEMBERSHIP FAQs:

​How long does my membership last?

Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. It expires one year from the day you join and is not tied to a calendar year.

Can I join at any time?

Yes. Membership is available year-round. Most club gatherings and activities take place from November through May, but your website access and membership benefits continue for the full 12 months.

Is membership individual or household-based?

Membership is individual. Each person must purchase their own membership and register using their own name and email address.

​What is included with membership?

Members receive access to club activities, educational programs, garden visits, field trips, online resources, member-only news content, event registration, and the Garden Exchange group.

​Can I attend a club gathering before becoming a member?
Yes. SCSH residents who are considering membership may request to attend one regular monthly club gathering as our guest, free of charge.

​

Can a non-member view club events and articles?

Non-members may see previews of selected events and blog posts. Full details and registration are available to active members after they log in.

​

Do I need to create a website account?

Yes. Please use the same email address for your membership purchase and website account. This allows us to connect your membership to the correct account.​

​

Does my membership renew automatically?

No. Membership does not renew automatically. You will need to purchase a new membership when your current 12-month membership expires.

​

Can membership dues be prorated?

No. Every membership is valid for a full 12 months from the date of purchase, so dues are not prorated.

​

​Who should I contact if I cannot access member content?

Please contact SCSH Desert Gardeners and include the name and email address used for your membership purchase.
